Pre & Post Care
Preparing your lips before your lip blush treatment and following the given aftercare is vital to a flawless healed blush. Let’s make sure you get the most out your lip blush treatment.
How should I prepare for my lip blush appointment?
Exfoliate your lips gently 1-2 days before the procedure to remove any dry patches.
Stay hydrated and avoid caffeine or alcohol 24 hours prior.
Avoid lip fillers and laser at least 4 weeks before the procedure.
If you have a history of cold sores, take antiviral medication (like Acyclovir) 5 days prior to prevent an outbreak. Consult a doctor or pharmacist.
What aftercare is required?
Keep lips moisturised with the balm provided.
Avoid spicy foods, sun exposure, and picking at any peeling skin.
Avoid makeup or lip products (except healing balm) for at least a week.
Stay away from pools, saunas, and heavy sweating for 7-10 days.
No sunbeds or sun exposure for 2 weeks, wear SPF lip balm after this time frame.

Days 3-5: Dryness and mild flaking can be expected
Days 6-10: Lips appear lighter than expected (color will bloom back).
Weeks 4-6: Full color settles in.
